Recently I finally bought myself a subscription here. Something Ive been wanting since I joined back in '07, lol xD.

Its not TOO much different. There are some nice perks that are great to have but nothing OMGAMAZING. I wish we could customize our profile instead of just our journals though >_<.

I wanted to thank all my watchers and people who fave for loving my work!!! It means so much to me you guys appreciate all my cosplay photos, drawings, avatars, stories, etc x3! I made a poll asking you all what you want to see more of from me so make sure you vote! So far, "Hellsing Cosplay Photos" is winning which...isnt a surprise xD. But yea, get your vote in because I love to please the fans ;DDD.

Katsucon is coming up!!! Only about 4 weeks to go! I have almost everything ready. Waiting on my contacts for Integra to get here. Had to get new ones because I accidentally ruined my old ones D;. Waiting on my Harley costume to be finished. Should be here in a week or so. Waiting on my whole gothic lolita outfit to get here. All of it better come in time or Im gonna be fucking PISSED >_>. And Im also waiting on my Formal Integra dress to get shipped. Those people are so slow D<. I have everything else thank god. Gah I definitely cant wait for this con! Its going to be so much fun x3!!! Ill be going with

and TONS of other people xD. Ive scheduled a Hellsing shoot, Formal Hellsing shoot and Batman shoot. Im sure they will be tons of fun <3. Im SOOOO happy we got a room in the Hyatt [hotel the con is taking place]. We seriously lucked out with that ._. Im hoping for good weather because two of the shoots are outside. NO rain and NO cold! RAWR! I dont feel like freezing my ass off while trying to do poses Dx So yea, look forward to a bunch of new cosplay photos!!! They are gonna be good >D.

Have you tried doing the <img src= " put the URL here without all the spaces " >? And include the quotes. It took me the longest time to figure out that the reason why my images weren't showing up on your journal entries was because I neglected them.

You also can check out the CSS layouts people make here on dA. Each one includes instructions on how to put them in your journal code.

If you're beta, I believe you can modify your layout. It's actually the next step dA is taking (that, and the ability to link a twitter to your account, which I'm actually looking forward to). However, I'm not sure if that's reserved for only some beta testers or what. [Example of someone who I watch who has beta testing + custom layout:

I was curious what the difference between subscribing and NOT subscribing are since dA switched its layout up. I've been subscribed for awhile now and I know that before the layout change, being subscribed was a MEGA improvement, particularly being able to see thumbnails of new deviations in your inbox opposed to a list. Since I haven't been unsubscribed with the current dA, I have no idea what one looses.

I do know a couple of the benefits that seem to have stuck for subscribers is increased search capabilities (being able to see older deviations that non-subbies can't see) and I believe you can also increase the number of deviations per page. Adding images to journal entries (including being able to add thumbnail codes into your journals) and having custom CSS for your journal is another.

Guh, I see now that you're officially a beta tester and... I have no idea what to tell you. Perhaps you have to be beta testing for x-amount of time before getting the layout editting ability.

I know I tried beta testing for a short while (about a month ago) with the intention of seeing if I could change my layout up and couldn't figure it out at the time. I've been checking around on and off (more the latter unfortunately) since switching back. If I find anything, I'll let you know.

Yes thats what I thought as well. But no matter where I look I cant find a way to modify it. It sucks D=

There are a few large differences and a bunch of subtle differences. Nothing amazing though. Once my subscription runs out I MAY resubscribe. Depends on how much Im using DA at the time.

Worst case scenario... try the beta forum? Now that you're a beta tester, you should be able to ask/find a thread regarding swapping up your main page.
